Ltd, which is Japan's largest commercial car park operator.Our vision is to be the leader in the markets we operate - as judged by the customers we serve, and this is grounded in our commitment to provide a seamless experience across every step of the customer journey.Secure Parking's core values are People First, Resilience, Integrity, Daring, and Passionate.Purpose of the Position: The Assistant Transport Shift Manager (ATSM) is responsible for managing and overseeing the operational environment within the Landside Operations of Brisbane Airport, specifically in car parks and Kerbside areas.The ATSM reports directly to the Transport Shift Manager (TSM) and ensures the smooth functioning of operations, incident management, and staff coordination.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: The ATSM is a full-time, shift-based role, covering peak times as directed by BAC.Responsibilities include maintaining communication with stakeholders, contractors, and staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring a hands-on approach when necessary.This may include substituting for Car Park or Kerbside Management Officers.Incident Management: The ATSM is involved in responding to both planned and unplanned incidents, monitoring CCTV systems, and managing incidents within car parks, BAC assets, and Kerbside operations.The role also involves ensuring all incidents are reported and resolved efficiently, including overseeing incident handovers and updates.Staff Coordination and Supervision: The ATSM ensures effective deployment of staff, supervises their performance, and assists with inquiries.The role also includes managing shift handovers, ensuring safety systems are in place, and addressing any staffing gaps due to leave or sickness.Customer Service and Security Oversight: The ATSM is responsible for liaising with other contractors, overseeing the car park management system, ensuring customer satisfaction, and ensuring the security of the airport premises.This includes identifying and reporting potential security concerns.Safety and Compliance: The ATSM is responsible for ensuring adherence to safety protocols and OH&S policies.This includes training staff, ensuring compliance, and maintaining up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Additional Responsibilities: The ATSM may also be involved in valet services coordination, ensuring the proper training of all staff, and carrying out various other duties as directed by BAC's representative.Key Performance Indicators: Customer satisfaction Efficient resolution of customer queries and complaints Staff management and effective communication Organizational skills and professionalism Selection Criteria: Minimum three (3) years demonstrated experience in a similar management role, including systems and personnel management, administration and customer service, preferably within a Car Park Transport and/or Logistics environment.Strong communication skills, high computer literacy, proven staff supervision, and decision-making ability.A high level of professionalism and a commitment to teamwork.Previous experience in customer service or call center roles is preferred.Ability to act quickly and use common sense in decision-making.This position requires a hands-on approach with strong leadership, operational management, and incident response capabilities.
