Job Summary Role Title: Lead Inclusion Assistant

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time
Overview of Role Coleg Cambria is looking for a Lead Inclusion Assistant to support staff and students with specific learning difficulties within the inclusion team. The role will require the successful applicant to provide positive intervention and mentoring to enable them to develop the skills to meet their working schedule deadlines and objectives. The successful candidate would have a high level of literacy skills to support staff with the marking of spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
Requirements Educated to Level 2 or equivalent standard in English and Maths or above.Experience of mentoring staff and responding effectively to the changing needs of a busy college (or similar) setting.Excellent written, listening, speaking, and interpersonal skills.Understanding of the complexities of learning differences and enabling support strategies.Professional and supportive with a flexible attitude and an aptitude for problem solving.The ability to respond to change in a positive manner and to support others who find change difficult.Welsh language skills are essential for this position.
