THE ROLE:You will provide diligent secretarial support to the clinicians at Melbourne Mental Health to ensure high quality patient care is always maintained.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Welcoming patients to the clinicAnswering telephone enquiriesManaging incoming and outgoing mail, emails and web enquiriesScheduling patient appointments including registering new patientsProcessing and allocating new referralsGenerating patient accounts and processing paymentsMedicare/DVA/Private Health Insurance billing and claimingLiaising with internal and external health professionals/servicesTyping up dictations prepared by cliniciansFiling (paper and electronic documents)Printing and photocopying relevant documentationPreparing relevant reports for clinicians and accountantsEnsuring the reception, waiting area and consulting suites are neat and tidyOther general office administration ABOUT YOU:You will be a team player with a strong focus on patient care. You will enjoy assisting and exceeding the expectations of referring practitioners, clinicians and their patients. You will be comfortable working both on your own and within a team.
