About the role As a Mine Plant Project Engineer (S&M), you will be responsible for managing and delivering equipment packages to the Project. Responsibilities Be the focal point and driving force for the assigned Package(s). Ongoing reporting to internal stakeholders, providing advice to Client stakeholders and working with the EPCM design team to scope the extent of the Package. Work with and support the EPCM procurement team to prepare tender documents. Conduct and coordinate technical bid evaluations and participate in tender selection and recommendation for award. Conduct kick-off meetings and be the primary contact point on behalf of the Project for the supplier/contractor. Progressive evaluation of supplier/contractor progress and drive mitigation plans where required. Provide direction to supplier/contractor, including variations; coordinate review of all supplier/contractor deliverables and consolidate review returns. Work with and support the EPCM quality team to complete the QA/QC program including inspection, testing, and resolution of NCR. Manage and support the EPCM procurement team to address claims from supplier/contractor. Work with the Site team to coordinate the delivery program and arrange as well as coordinate post-delivery support by the supplier/contractor to Site's installation and commissioning program. Approval/closing of document deliverables including MDR and As-Built drawings. Assess progress for payment, instigate warranty claims where required. Any other task to ensure the Package is delivered on quality, time, and budget. Requirements Package engineering experience for equipment typically used on a crushed and convey iron ore processing plant such as, crusher, feeder, screen, rock breaker, dust collector, conveyor components, winches, magnets, weigher, hydraulic power units, and pumps. #J-18808-Ljbffr
