Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is the principal contractor for Snowy Hydro's Snowy 2.0, Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. We bring the combined engineering expertise of three companies - Italy's Webuild (formerly Salini Impregilo), Australian-based Clough and US-based Lane Construction.Purpose of the Role:To support and oversee training programs for FGJV, identifying the training and project employee development needs of JV partner companies. This includes creating training materials and implementing staff training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.Qualifications:Bachelor of Training and Development or related field preferredCert IV in Training & AssessmentWhite CardExperience:Minimum 5 years in a similar role - preferably in construction industry on a project of similar size or large RTO.Recognised experience in overseeing the operationalisation of training function its initiatives, and implementation of plans and processes.Proven experience in management or senior training roles within the construction industries with site-based experience.Strong leadership, accountability and influencing skills in large team environment.Proven experience with the national training quality and regulated frame work, project frame work systems and training delivery.Required Competencies:Ability to communicate across a large range of internal and external stakeholders of all levelsProficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS)Strong understanding of adult learning principlesStrong Initiative and proactive approachLead by example influencing effective and efficient deliverables and outcomesKey collaborative skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed time management skillsCoaching, mentoring and support skillsExceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and training related software.Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Execute strong and transformative Training function that aligns with organisational and project requirements.Manage the design and implement learning programs, training programs, initiatives, and curriculum to address identified skill gaps and support ongoing employee development.Support the onboarding process, to ensure consistent delivery to all stakeholders, their roles, responsibilities and expectations while working at FGJV.Conduct reviews of training and assessment materials according to legislative, HSE and Project policies and procedures.Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to positively drive engagement, motivate teams and influence culture.Ensure that trainers and participants understand and meet their regulatory and statutory obligations as they relate to competency-based training.Collaborate with the Training Manager where necessary in order to provide specific technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders.Co-ordinate the learning management system (LMS) and other training tools to organise, track, and deliver training content efficiently.Undertake auditing of training systems and facilities and advise on equipment and learning resource requirements.Knowledge of HSE and VET legislation, project systems, training development and methodologies to enable the incorporation of innovations into training programs.Co-ordinate and support reporting systems and processes as directed by Training Manager.Working with project leaders, and employees to ensure the achievement of training objectives.Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and continuous improvement of training programmes.Support implantation of project Training Needs Analysis for site departments and deliver consistent feedback to teams, ensuring they are provided sufficient information to enable them to actively maintain current competency and compliance.Provide leadership and/or experience, to support the training team member strengths to support all project and site training activities.Identifying and implementing a wide range of training gaps and techniques to improve efficiency and returns on investment.Coordinate process of employee enrolment and schedule for training sessions and organising the resources to facilitate training programmes.The above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.As an employee you will be eligible to participate in a number of additional employee benefits.
