Our work starts with donations — we sort through donated items, prepare them for sale, price them, and display them in the shop. We are a team passionate about making a positive difference in our community. The Role We are looking for an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our volunteers, supporting and assisting them in their tasks while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. You'll help organise and prioritise tasks, oversee daily operations, and work alongside our volunteers to maintain a welcoming and high-performing environment. This is a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week) based in our Mclean Street Store in Bundaberg. Key Responsibilities: Assist in sorting and processing donated goods to ensure they are ready for sale Price and organise items for display in the shop Work alongside volunteers, providing guidance and support Organise and prioritise daily tasks for volunteers to maximize productivity Ensure the shop meets cleanliness, quality, and customer service standards Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries as needed About You Previous experience in retail, customer service, or managing volunteers is a plus A positive, energetic, and motivated individual who enjoys working in a team Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work alongside and support volunteers of diverse backgrounds If you are passionate about making a positive impact, driving change, and contributing to the well-being of individuals and communities, we'd love to hear from you Please submit your application via SEEK or directly on our careers page.
