In 2021, PFD formed a partnership with another proud Australian company, Woolworths Group.The RoleTo lead the entire warehouse and transport function in achieving common objectives each day.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the daily co-ordination of warehouse operations – Transport, Warehouse and Stock ControlEnsure staff and branch work practices comply with all company/ legislative policies and procedures (including OH&S and HACCP guidelines)Ensure all KPI's and targets are achieved within the agreed time framesWork with management team to develop and implement branch level strategies to improve customer outcomes and branch profitabilityEnsure the warehouse and associated vehicles and tools are maintained to standardAssist management and support all Stock Control, Replenishing and Supply Chain objectivesKey Competencies, Skills and QualificationsPrevious experience in an Operations Management role preferably in the food services industryKnowledge/Experience in a cold store environmentGood industry and product knowledgeStrong people management skillsWell-developed leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including being able to motivate others and create a team environmentHandle multiple projects simultaneously within expected deadlinesAbility to manage work autonomouslyGood communication and organisational skillsMR and Forklift license essentialCertificate III in Transport & Logistics would be preferredWhat PFD is Offering the Successful CandidateWe are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).Please submit your application (cover letter and resume) via the apply now link belowAs part of our recruitment process, do you agree to undertake employment checks?
