Local Land Services Agency – Wollongong NSWField Operations Grade 3 Starting at $70,694 + leave entitlements and Super.Temporary role to June 2027Preferred locations: Moruya or BegaIdentified roleAbout the Role: As a Support Officer, you will help ensure the successful implementation of South East LLS programs and projects that focus on Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and Natural Resource Management.You'll collaborate with Aboriginal partners, land managers, and the LLS team to address natural resource management, biosecurity, and agricultural productivity issues.You'll also assist in emergency preparedness and response efforts, all while maintaining strong cultural sensitivity and trust with Aboriginal communities.Key Responsibilities: Project Support: Provide timely and effective support for Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and Natural Resource Management projects, ensuring they are delivered successfully.Collaboration: Work closely with LLS colleagues, Aboriginal partners, and land managers to address key natural resource management and biosecurity challenges.Record Management: Maintain accurate records and databases in line with policies and procedures.Emergency Support: Undertake activities to help prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.Stakeholder Communication: Provide updates on project progress and implementation to relevant stakeholders.Customer-Focused Service: Stay up-to-date with current LLS programs to ensure excellent service delivery.Building trust and maintaining cultural awareness while managing expectations across multiple Aboriginal communities.Balancing stakeholder priorities and community needs in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.Juggling planned activities with urgent, unpredictable tasks to ensure effective project delivery.What We're Looking For: We're seeking someone with a deep understanding of Aboriginal culture, an understanding of natural resource management issues, strong project management skills, and a passion for delivering impactful programs.If you're organized, adaptable, and committed to working in partnership with Aboriginal communities to support their cultural heritage and natural resource management, we want to hear from you!Applying is easy.
