This is a really important role for a dynamic and motivated clinician and medical administrator with a passion for leadership, collaboration and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.As this is a Deputy DMS role, this could suit an early-career medical administrator looking to develop their experience within a regional setting.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Medical Services, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality clinical care across the Albany Health Campus.Junior Doctor Development: Partner with senior medical staff to recruit, mentor, and support junior doctors, fostering a positive and enriching learning environment.Outpatient Service Optimisation: Lead the management and continuous improvement of outpatient services to enhance patient access, experience, and outcomes.Quality and Safety Champion: Actively participate in quality committees and initiatives, driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement to exceed accreditation standards.Clinical Governance: Lead clinical incident investigations, complaint management, and audits to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care.Accreditation and Compliance: Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Training and Heads of Department to ensure full compliance with the standards set by the Postgraduate Medical Council of WA and other relevant Learned Medical College and institutions.Imagine living and working in the coastal city Albany, a stunning small city renowned for its marine beauty, pristine beaches, and relaxed lifestyle.
