Greencross O'Connor are looking for a new Vet Director. This is an exciting chance to join a compassionate team located close to popular Fremantle beaches, restaurants and cafes.
The team at Greencross O'Connor pride themselves on providing gold standard service to all clients and patients of the clinic, whether young or old, healthy or sick. We are a high energy team who are constantly having a laugh, listening to music and bonding over our love of snacks! We have frequent competitions and team building outings with our sister clinics.
You will join our two associate vets and team of six nurses. Our current vet enjoys ophthalmology and has a strong interest in furthering her skills and education. Our nursing team have a wealth of experience under their belt and also pride themselves on keeping on top of continuing education.

The clinic has most toys including inhouse lab, high quality anaesthetic monitoring equipment, digital dental x-ray. Our theatre and radiology suite are separate to the treatment area.
The role is full time and the clinic is open 8am to 6pm weekdays plus 8.30-5pm Saturdays. Vets work 1:4 Saturdays and we are closed Sundays. So you will have plenty of time to make the most of this great location.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing each day
* Leading a team of passionate Vets and Vet Nurses
* A permanent full-time role with plenty of variety
* Delivering personalised, professional and dedicated care to our patients and owners
* Regular consults and routine surgery - design your perfect roster!
* Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment in our fabulous hospital
* Confidently working as a sole practitioner in the clinic when required

Qualifications
About you
This role would suit a veterinarian with several years practical experience and registration to work in Australia. Clinical leadership and management skills desired but not essential as we will mentor you! An ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of the team, with a desire to mentor, nurture and lead others AND yourself is a must.
