Country Road - Stockroom Manager - Doncaster - VIC (Fixed Term)
The Role
Reporting to the Cluster/Store Manager and working closely with the store team, this position is responsible for delivering the company key performance indicators relating to the Stockroom and building a team that is empowered to exceed. Please note this is a 12 month fixed term role.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling and managing the inventory of merchandise in a timely, efficient and organised manner
* Lead and develop the stockroom team to ensure effective stock control at all times
* Ensure shrink strategies are reviewed and implemented on an ongoing basis
* Drive the focus of Work Health and Safety (WHS) within the stockroom and store
* Management of the stores stocktake process
* Review and implement strategies within the store to improve efficiency
The Ideal Candidate will have
* Previous experience in a fast-paced physical environment
* Proven ability to cope well under pressure
* A passion for the retail industry and exceptional internal and external customer service
* Highly developed attention to detail
* Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Experience in managing budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating rosters
* Proven ability to manage the performance and development of a team
* Focus on driving productivity with team members
* Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders
