Employment Type: Temporary Part Time - April 2025 to April 2026Location: Queanbeyan & BraidwoodPosition Classification: Radiographer Lvl 2Remuneration: $41.64 - $57.36 per hourHours Per Week: 8Requisition ID: REQ558356This position covers shifts at both Braidwood Hospital and Queanbeyan Hospital.What We Offer:Salary Packaging – up to $9k for living expenses + $2.6k meal & entertainment + Novated leasingCorporate Health and Fitness program11.5% Superannuation on top of your gross incomeAnnual Leave LoadingWhat You'll Be Doing:The Medical Radiation Scientist provides a quality, sustainable diagnostic imaging service by actively participating in the multidisciplinary delivery of person-focused services to the patients, clients, and clinicians of Southern NSW LHD.Selection Criteria:Current registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), EPA licence to use radiation, and unrestricted driver's licence.High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of people and provide a wide range of imaging services, including CT, with minimal supervision.Ability to work within a team, share the allocation of workloads according to skills and competencies, and participate in the department roster including on-call as required.Ability to interpret request information, select the most appropriate protocol, and adapt imaging if necessary.Evidence of ongoing involvement in continued professional development.Working knowledge of legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures affecting medical imaging.Experience working in a range of clinical settings.Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases:This is a Category 'A' position.
