About The Role
As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in supporting Children and Young People who exhibit challenging behaviors. Your main responsibilities include engaging with and supporting them to achieve their social, educational, cultural, and emotional goals. You will also oversee their daily care, ensuring their needs are met and they feel safe and supported.

Skill and Experience Requirements
* Current Australian Driver's Licence (must be Open or P2)
* Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent (or actively working towards it)
* Availability for shift work (24-hour model), including weekdays, weekends, and sleepovers as scheduled
* Approved Licensed Care Service (LSC) check through the department, or ability to obtain one
* Current Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them
* Flexibility to meet the organisation's needs
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet specific timeframes and targets
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, organization, and reporting
* Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
* Provide two recent professional references
Desirable Attributes
* Understanding of trauma-informed practices
* Previous Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training
* Completion of Hope & Healing modules
* Experience working directly with children and families in a support role
* Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn
