With established relationships across the country, there is now a unique opportunity for someone to join the business as a Channel Manager driving expansion across the retail market.The RoleAs a Channel Manager, you will be responsible for introducing a range of consumer electronics to leading retailers across Australia. You will leverage your retail business network, introducing the brand to new retail partners, securing strong listings, prime shelf space and successful sales across multiple channels. Your day to day will include:Develop and implement a channel strategy to introduce and grow the brand within major retailersLeverage existing relationships with retail buyers to secure listings, negotiate favourable terms, and maximise product visibilityAct as the primary point of contact for key retail partners, managing accounts and ensuring ongoing sales performanceCollaborate with marketing, product and supply chain teams to align distribution and promotional efforts with brand goalsAnalyse sales data and market trends to optimise channel performance and ensure competitive market positioningLead high-level negotiations on product placement, pricing, and promotional strategiesProvide regular updates and reports on channel activities and performance to senior managementAll About You Experience: Experience in channel management, sales, or business development within the consumer electronics or FMCG industriesRetail Expertise: Prior experience as a Senior Buyer, Category Manager, or Merchandise Manager at a major retailer is highly desirableRelationships: Strong, existing relationships with retailers across AustraliaSales Skills: Proven track record in driving sales growth through effective channel strategies and retail partnershipsNegotiation & Influence: Expertise in negotiating with senior retail decision-makers, with the ability to secure favourable outcomesAnalytical: Strong ability to analyse sales data and market trends to make data-driven decisionsCommunication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholdersBenefits Competitive salary package (circa $100K - $150K base) with performance-based incentivesOTE $250000Opportunity to work with a leading distributor and an exciting, innovative brand.Open to options of engagement – do you prefer to engage as a Sole Trader?
