We are seeking a skilled Configuration/PLM Administrator with expertise in Siemens Teamcenter to join our SME's technical team. The successful candidate will manage and configure our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to support and streamline engineering, manufacturing, and quality processes. This role is key to ensuring data integrity, system performance, and efficient collaboration across departments. Key Responsibilities Teamcenter Administration and Configuration: Configure, customize, and manage Teamcenter workflows, templates, roles, and access controls. Ensure optimal performance and availability of the Teamcenter system, handling regular updates, patches, and troubleshooting as necessary. Maintain Teamcenter data structure and implement efficient data management and migration practices. User Support and Training: Provide end-user support, resolving issues related to PLM and Teamcenter functionalities. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to support user proficiency and system adoption. Act as a point of contact for Teamcenter-related queries and technical guidance within the organization. System Integration and Improvement: Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, etc.). Identify and implement process improvements to optimize PLM functionality and user experience. Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance product development and configuration management processes. Configuration Management: Establish and maintain configuration management standards and processes, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards. Manage the lifecycle of technical documentation and engineering change requests within Teamcenter. Ensure that all data and documentation are up-to-date, accurate, and accessible to authorized users. Data and Security Management: Administer user access permissions and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive information. Conduct regular audits and data integrity checks to ensure PLM data accuracy and compliance. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Proven experience in PLM administration, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter, in a configuration, administrator, or support role. Experience working in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) environment is a plus. Background in engineering, manufacturing, or product development environments preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Siemens Teamcenter PLM, including workflows, configurations, and data management. Knowledge of integrating PLM with ERP systems and CAD tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks) is advantageous. Strong understanding of configuration management principles and best practices. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to train users and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail.
