Job Description Maintains a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as per Sofitel Spa guidelines.
Demonstrates flexibility in working hours to the needs of the business and fellow ambassadors.
Performs services and treatments pertaining to the Beauty/Spa Therapist classification; facial treatments, body treatments, body massages including aromatherapy massage, deep muscle massage, and any other Spa treatment offered, in line with own professional qualifications.
Liaises with all other practitioners, therapists, receptionists and hotel colleagues to ensure a harmonious and peaceful environment.
Acts responsibly at all times in relation to personal safety along with the safety of colleagues and guests of the spa.
Builds rapport with guests, actively establishing genuine emotional connection to create a loyal clientele.
Maintains and proactively updates own knowledge of all treatments, wellness journeys and any current promotions.
Recommends wellness-inducing lifestyle practices, as well as home care (retail) to guests following a thoughtful evaluation of their wellbeing based on Consultation Form and observations made during treatment.
Utilises basic functionality of Spa software, such as looking into appointments and guest profiles.
Performs list of operational tasks to conduct during slow periods, such as product preparation, stock rotation, linen checks, deep cleans, etc.
Strictly follows all treatment protocols, utilising adequate measuring tools to minimise product wastage.
Ensures preferences and relevant medical conditions are constantly updated on guest's profiles.
Completes assigned daily check lists relevant to their role (E.g.. Stocking linen in treatment room, sterilising tools, replenishing guest amenities, etc.)
Maintains fluid and regular communication with Lead Therapist and Spa Manager.
Embraces growth, actively provides input in their own professional development plan.
Participates in regular standard tests and room checks performed by Lead Therapist and Spa Manager.
Welcomes regular feedback from management to improve their professional skills.
Maintains an understanding of the functions of other departments and how these interlink with the spa.
Qualifications Must hold a minimum Diploma level qualification.
Biologique Recherche qualification would be highly favourable.
Ability to work at least one of the weekend days.
Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.
Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
Experience within a similar role.
Strong communication skills.
