OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity for a Construction Manager experienced in microtunnelling and civil construction to oversee projects in Sydney and across NSW and VIC. You will manage all aspects of construction planning and execution, ensuring projects are adequately resourced with plant and labour, and are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. RoleAs a Construction Manager, you will: Oversee approximately 40 staff indirectly, with 5-7 direct reports Develop, review, and manage construction plans and project schedules Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Manage budgets, financials, and commercial requirements for successful project outcomes Work closely with site teams, managing their programs and providing oversight (not in detail for microtunnelling) Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project satisfaction Conduct regular site visits and ensure projects are delivered with optimal efficiency Experience Background in civil construction, with specific experience in civil construction, microtunnelling, and/or deep open cut works preferred Trades background is advantageous, particularly for candidates who have progressed from Foreman/Site Manager to Construction Manager Strong knowledge of financial and commercial management in construction Requirements Technical background, such as a trade qualification or engineering degree At least 10 years of management experience in construction, ideally with experience in complex civil projects Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams Willingness to travel interstate as required for project needs What’s on Offer Up to $250k + vehicle allowance Permanent role with career growth in a reputable civil contractor Collaborative work culture with a commitment to safety and innovation Opportunity to lead impactful projects across NSW and VIC ApplyIf you are interested in this opportunity, please click 'APPLY' or contact Gemma by emailing gemma@iepro.com.au.
