Wagga Wagga City Council are seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our Art Gallery team as Casual Art Gallery Assistants!
We are seeking professional and friendly staff to join our Art Gallery team as Casual Art Gallery Assistants with key responsibilities involving Front of House, (Reception and Retail), Invigilation, Public Programs and Events).
* Remuneration of $35.54 gross per hour + superannuation.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
* Assist in the daily operation of Gallery and providing customer service duties always ensuring a highly presentable and welcoming reception.
* Provide a courteous and effective service to the visiting public including information about exhibitions and public programs and addressing enquiries.
* Provide invigilation for the Gallery including exhibitions, weekends and some out-of-hours duties for events and public programs.
* Administrative duties associated with the role.
What you will need to succeed:
* Qualifications and experience relevant to the role in the following sectors: Arts, Gallery or Museum, Customer Service and retail;
* Hold a Responsible Service or Alcohol (RSA) or willing to obtain;
* Experience in retail sales and familiarly using MYOB is highly desirable;
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure; and
* To be highly motivated and enthusiastic.
