ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Clinical Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality clinical education and support to our medical and allied health students. Your responsibilities will include:
* Facilitating clinical learning experiences: Collaborate with clinical staff to design and deliver engaging learning activities that foster practical skills, critical thinking, and patient-centered care.
* Clinical supervision and mentoring: Provide guidance, feedback, and support to students during their clinical placements, ensuring they develop the necessary competencies and professionalism.
* Curriculum development and review: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum by providing insights from your clinical expertise and incorporating evidence-based practices.
* Assessment and evaluation: Participate in the assessment of students' clinical performance and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and growth.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* A relevant degree in healthcare and current registration in Queensland with clinical experience in reproductive and neonatal health.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, clinical staff, and academic colleagues.
* Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
* Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and create inclusive educational experiences.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to balance clinical and academic responsibilities effectively.
