In this exciting role, you'll be at the heart of our Directorate, providing essential support and guidance in all things HR. Your expertise will help executives, managers, and staff navigate the complexities of HR policies, procedures, and employee relations with ease. As a project powerhouse, you'll dive into HR projects, from policy drafting to participating in consultative working groups at the government level. You'll also provide high-level support offering guidance on case management matters. Your role will see you coordinating executive recruitment, managing positions, and handling advertising with flair. You'll implement innovative HR methodologies to deliver strategic and operational services in line with the ACTPS Employment Framework, and take on other duties that match your skills and keep things exciting. We're looking for someone with proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs, up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and government policies, and exceptional organisational skills to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines. You'll need to be a problem-solver with discretion and sound judgement in managing complex, sensitive matters. A team player with high initiative, you'll work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
