About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Electrician to join our Fixed Plant teams at our Goonyella Riverside Mine. Reporting to the Fixed Plant Electrical Supervisor, your role will involve the safe application of preventative and predictive maintenance on our fixed plant and site infrastructure, including breakdown, shutdown support, and modular type works within the electrical teams.
1. Contributing to our safety and continuous improvement culture
2. Maintain a high-level working knowledge of safety processes
3. Inspection, servicing, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair of all plant and infrastructure equipment.
4. Have a sound understanding of maintenance management principles
5. Work effectively with other maintenance and production team members, including contractors.
6. Proficiency with computer-based planning systems, ideally 1SAP & Fiori
7. Ensure that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed
8. Ensure adequate application of corrective work to facilitate the Planning Process.
9. Monitoring of asset integrity and compliance to statutory maintenance & inspection requirements
About You
The successful applicant will have previous Fixed Plant CPP Electrician experience as well as the below skills:
1. Australia recognized trade qualification - A grade Electrical License
2. Well-developed understanding of the operation and maintenance of Fixed Plant equipment
3. Overriding commitment to BHP Charter, health, safety, environment, and sustainable development.
4. Experience working in Coal Processing Plant is highly desirable
5. Forklift Licence, Working at Heights, Confined Space, High Voltage switching and EWP tickets an advantage.
6. Demonstrated experience working in a diverse team environment
7. Ability to work well within a team to achieve outcomes
8. Motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision
9. Be dedicated to Continuous Improvements
10. Sound communication and interpersonal skills
11. An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a desire to develop and learn
