About the Opportunity: In this role, you’ll provide care and companionship for older people living in their own homes, to help empower their independence and improve their quality of life in Narooma and Surrounding areas. You’ll be required to travel to client’s homes and communities, using your own car. Depending on your qualifications and experience, the role will include: Home Assistance: Housekeeping, grocery shopping and meal preparation Personal care: Assisting with personal care, showering, dressing, mealtime support and medication administration. Transport: Providing transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social support activities. Who we’re looking for: Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent. If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there Provisional or full Australian driver's license and access to a full comprehensively insured vehicle. Previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care. Flexible and prepared to help meet the changing needs and schedules of our home care clients.
