Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Support Team Manager to lead our dedicated team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. Previous experience with specific industries such as retail, fuel distribution, banking and restaurants is not essential but will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the IT support team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
* Oversee the installation, configuration, certification, and testing of IT systems for clients.
* Coordinate troubleshooting and system restoration efforts during normal operations.
* Develop and implement processes to enhance team productivity and service quality.
* Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages professional growth.
* Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with IT services.
* Monitor team performance, providing feedback and coaching to team members.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve service offerings.
* Prepare, estimate, and quantify materials and elements required for projects and installations.
* Prepare and oversee project schedules and deadlines.
* Generate and execute cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory checks.
* Control and maintain inbound and outbound processes for inventory.
* Screen, interview, and train new technicians to ensure they meet company standards.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in IT support or related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
* Strong technical knowledge of IT systems and support processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Experience in customer service and client relationship management.
