Barwon Health is committed to developing a vibrant culture of education, training and research that advances health and wellbeing for all.About the roleThe General and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Teams provide an outpatient rehabilitation service for people with a variety of orthopaedic injuries, general rehabilitation needs, or who have complex co-morbidities associated with aging (including pulmonary rehabilitation and geriatric evaluation and management). The teams currently include Rehabilitation Physician, Geriatrician, Care Coordinator, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Allied Health Assistant. Other allied health also available in the centre. The Occupational Therapist will work with patients to deliver goal-focused and time-limited rehabilitation at home, in the centre and in the local community. This role is involved with comprehensive assessments, care planning, supporting patients with independence at home and in the community, return to work or study and referring on to community services where appropriate.Diversity and InclusionWe believe in the power of diversity and inclusion.
