We are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for an experienced and passionate Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our newly established Integrative Oncology Unit within the Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre (PFMCC).The Alfred Cancer Program is responsible for the overall delivery of a comprehensive cancer service which involves a number of clinical areas and units including Medical Oncology, Clinical Haematology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Apheresis, State-wide Haemophilia Service, Radiation Oncology, Palliative Care and the Victorian Melanoma Service. Alfred Health delivers a comprehensive suite of services which involves a range of diagnostic services, surgical, radiation and oncology therapies and the recently introduced Integrative Oncology Unit and Wellness Centre for cancer patients.The RoleThe Grade 2 Occupational Therapist will provide patient-centred supportive care to cancer patients within the Integrative Oncology Unit and Wellness Centre at Alfred Cancer, based in the PFMCC outpatient setting.The Occupational Therapist will play a pivotal role in delivering holistic, patient-centred care by helping patients manage the physical, emotional, cognitive and occupational challenges that arise during cancer treatment. You will work collaboratively with a diverse multidisciplinary team to develop personalised therapy plans that enhance patients' daily functioning and quality of life. This involves assessing patients' needs, designing therapeutic interventions, and providing support to help them cope with the effects of cancer and its treatment. You will have:B. App Sc (OT), B.
