About the opportunity A new opportunity is now available for a Registered Nurse who demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
The position will be based in Belair over 3-4 days a week, with some flexibility required to cover leave.
On offer are secure and regular hours, scheduled between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
There is also the opportunity for permanent employment after six months, depending on performance.

Referral program for new staff About the Role: At Integrative Health Solutions, you will work collaboratively with our close knit, multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
This position is one of the more diverse in general practice nursing, as it involves overseeing a busy treatment room, infusion clinic, taking complex patient histories, triage, offering preventative health education and supporting the entire team.
When you not consulting, you will be contributing to the efficient operation of the medical centre.
Practice Nurse Duties to include, but are not limited to: Assist with patient triage, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examination by healthcare providers.
Provide health education, Assessments and counselling to patients on preventive care, chronic disease management, and medication administration.
Administering injections, immunisations and preparing catch up schedules Cold Chain Management, Infection Control and Sterilisation Providing emotional support to patients, families and carers Assisting doctors with minor procedures and wound dressings ECGs, spirometry and holter monitor fitting Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions Care of peripheral and central access devices Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient encounters, test results, and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Essential criteria Hold current registration with AHPRA Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Outstanding clinical skills and medical knowledge Strong attention to detail and time management skills Clear and empathetic communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, efficient, caring and compassionate with a professional attitude Adaptable, flexible and positive mindset Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook Desired criteria Current CPR Certificate Familiarity with Best Practice Software Previous practice nurse experience (or be willing to complete online training) Current Childhood Immunisation Certificate (or be willing to complete) Cannulation training (or be willing to complete) Enrolled nurses need to have IV certification (or be prepared to obtain it).
