The Digital Applications team is responsible for delivering and supporting portals, integrations, custom applications, and digital solutions.

Out Systems, one of the leading low-code application platforms, is the chosen product used to build ASIC's strategic Digital Service Platform (DSP).
The DSP is a key technology enabler to support ASIC's ambition to become a leading digital regulator with capabilities to uplift existing and new online services and UX (user experience).
ASIC has an ongoing and significant portfolio of projects on DSP comprising digital initiatives, legislative changes, and business improvements.
The role We are seeking an experienced web application developer who is interested in leveraging web development skills to deliver applications using Out Systems.
Training will be available.
As a Senior Web Applications Developer, you will be accountable for: Providing systems analysis, technical recommendations, and inputs to business requirements and solution/UI designs for Out Systems applications.
Providing detailed design and proof of concept of common components, workflows, and functionalities.
Developing, unit-testing, and deploying the Out Systems applications.
Ensuring that the applications delivered are aligned with project outcomes and architectural designs and patterns.
Ensuring that the applications delivered are WCAG and Security Compliant.
Ensuring that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation, development best practices, and guidelines.
Contributing to the continuous improvements to applications, environments, and processes.
Providing advice, coaching, and knowledge transfer to junior staff as required.
About you 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying complex web applications using.
NET or Java.
Experience with Out Systems platform is an advantage.
Experience with REST/JSON based web services.
Experience with SQL queries and performance tuning.
Working knowledge of the Agile methodology and agile development, including the use of agile management tools such as TFS, GIT, JIRA.
Experience in performing code reviews and ensuring code quality.
Experience using CICD/Dev Ops, continuous integration, automated unit testing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and people skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or other relevant degree is desirable.
