Our Federal Government client requires an experience Senior Business Analyst to work within a multi-discipline delivery team, following agile principles to deliver IT systems supporting their core business.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will be pro-active, and versatile with a strong background successfully working with diverse stakeholders to elicit detailed requirements.
Required skills and experience include but are not limited to:
Experience in analysis and modelling of current and future business processes and information management environments.
Analyse data related requirements, user pathways and information flows
Develop clear and concise documents including business requirements specifications, business cases, functional & non-functional specifications, process maps, user stories, service design artefacts, communication & change management plans, and reports.
Conduct investigations and undertake technical research & analysis activities based on systems knowledge in alignment with departmental policies and legislations.
Essential Criteria include:
Demonstrated experience over multiple years working as a Senior Business Analyst using agile methodology, on large and complex IT systems.
Demonstrated ability to identify business problems, and design transformative solutions that realise desired business outcomes.
Demonstrated experience working effectively and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary IT delivery teams.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience with data architecture and/or data modelling and SQL.
Education and certifications related to business analysis (BABOK, CBAP, Agile, etc).
Understanding of Machine Learning.
Role Particulars:
Submission deadline: 15/07
Duration: 10 months starting mid-August
Extension: 1 x 12 month option to extend
Eligibility: Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Baseline Clearance
Location: ACT
Working arrangements: This role requires candidates to be onsite in Canberra. Working remotely up to 3 days per week may be negotiated.
