About REDC - This 12-bed, brand new, purpose-built facility will provide an innovative model of care for people 16 years and over, with an eating disorder in a homelike environment. A skilled multidisciplinary team will provide an intensive program of individual and group interventions, using a rehabilitation framework. About EDDP - This service offers a group therapy program 4 days per week and is designed as an adjunct to ongoing care. Baiyangbaiyaang – a statewide service will be required to operate in conjunction with existing specialised tertiary services, with a broad range of stakeholders, both in public and private sectors. The service will be operational 24/7 with the CNS2 roles undertaking morning and afternoon shifts over a 7-day roster. About the role: As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, you will play a key role within the program therapy team, providing leadership and driving the co-design, development, and implementation of high-quality nursing practices aimed at assessing, monitoring, and managing the impacts and risks associated with eating disorders on clients' wellbeing. This leadership role also involves contributing to the ongoing professional growth of the nursing team and offering guidance and support to less experienced staff members. We are seeking a motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 who is passionate about working with individuals experiencing eating disorders as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. The start date will be confirmed during the interview process, with comprehensive service-wide training and team-building activities scheduled prior to the program's launch. The successful candidate will be supported by the REDC Manager, with a Transitional Nurse Practitioner and CNS 2 staff available on-site for ongoing guidance and discipline-specific support. Additional support includes access to professional network streams within Hunter New England Mental Health and the Eating Disorder Network.
