Job Description A Senior Compositor is responsible for the cohesive finalising of shot work for visual effects projects.Working with Supervision and upstream departments, they integrate and manage render elements, live-action footage, and other assets to create creative and technically excellent final images. Mid Compositors help with additional tasks related to compositing, such as color correction, keying, prep and roto work, ensuring the final shot meets the project's visual standards. Qualifications Key Responsibilities: Tips: Starts the responsibility with verbs of "action" (Create, Implement, Collaborate, Communicate, Assign, Drive, Help, Follow, Monitor, Provide…etc) Integration of 2D and 3D elements into a cohesive image. Responsible for the timely execution of shot tasks and the delivering them on schedule. Working with Seniors & Leads to ensure shots work in context and matches the brief requirements. Presenting your work in daily sessions for feedback & creative discussion. Collaborate closely with upstream departments to ensure the highest level of shot finishing. Seamless integration of upstream work with live-action plates. Actively communicates with show supervision and production teams to flag issues and update on progress. Imbuing your work with the highest technical and creative standards. Perform any other duties as assigned by your Manager or a Key Business Relationship. Technical & Soft Skills: Basic knowledge:?sufficient familiarity with the subject to know basic principles and terminology and to understand and solve simple problems. Technical &Soft Skills: Required previous experience in a VFX environment.Proficient knowledge of grading, keying, CG comping and element Intergrations to shot finishing level. Proficient knowledge of art and photography & colour. Preferred Software knowledge : Nuke.Previous experience in a linux-based environment A familiarity with modern VFX pipelines.
