We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join our team at our Killean Facility in Inverell NSW.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high quality clinical care for our aged care residents whilst under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
About You
We are looking for individuals that are caring, empathetic & looking to contribute to their communities. You will have current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. Previous experience working in an aged care setting is desirable, but not essential. To be successful in this role, you will have strong communication skills, be computer savvy, and can work effectively as part of a team.
Minimum Requirements
* AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2)
* Minimum of 12 months practical work experience plus medication endorsement
* Demonstrated clinical knowledge
* High level analytical, written & verbal communication skills
* Commitment to teamwork & willingness to take initiative
* Excellent organisational & time management skills
* Able to use smartphone/tablet & learn new systems for work purposes
* 2 x recent managerial referees
* Police clearance – we run one for you for free!
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Commitment to embrace, model and work within the core values of McLean Care
* Knowledge & understanding of Aged Care Quality & Safety Standards
* Firm understanding of person-centred care
* Experience in an aged care setting
* Understanding of aged care and associated legislation
* Experience in supervising staff
* Basic life support
