About the Role: As a Direct Care Attendant (Residential), you will assist in delivering direct client services to residents of the Residential Care Home.
You will work under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and closely collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care is provided.
Your role will involve supporting residents with daily activities, promoting their independence, and fostering a respectful and dignified environment.
You'll be an essential part of the care team, helping to ensure the well-being and comfort of the residents every day.
What We're Looking For: WHA4 Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
Experience in the use of computer packages e.g.
Microsoft Word, Excel.
