* Salary: $95,102 - $107,905 (Plus Superannuation of 11.5%) * Fixed term till 1 May 2026 * Two positions available * Usual hours of work: Full time (flexible work conditions maybe available) * Usual work location: East Melbourne Publication Designers - The purpose of this role is to support print and online activities within the VCE Examinations Unit.
Publication Designers are responsible for desktop publishing VCE examinations and related materials for print and online.
You will be required to produce high quality VCE examination materials to publication standard, while ensuring the application of VCAA style guidelines.
You will be part of a high-functioning team that has strict security and confidentiality requirements.The main components of the role include but are not limited to: * undertake publishing activities including desktop publishing, preparing illustrations, sourcing and manipulating images for examination material * ability to prepare high quality electronic artwork for commercial print and online distribution * maintain hard copy and electronic document management systems including filing, copying, version control * ensuring that there is consistency and integrity across all communications while observing and adhering to the strict security controls embedded within the development process * assisting in the review and development of procedures and manuals.
About the unitThe VCE Examinations unit develops and produces all VCE written examinations, including those for the Northern Hemisphere Timetable.
