About the role
We are currently seeking positions for Rail Labourers for Rail Operations in the Hunter Valley. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
Rail-specific duties may include but are not limited to:
* Removing and replacing worn and damaged rails, sleepers and switches.
* Spotting machinery and mobile plant (such as excavators, rollers etc).
* Using powered hand tools and equipment.
* Site clean-up (clearing of debris and manual handling).
* Demonstrate ability to perform duties maintaining high standards in both safety and quality.
About you
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work unsupervised and within a team.
* Demonstrate experience working in the rail construction industry.
* Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
* Valid Drivers Licence Class ‘C’ or ‘HR’.
* Ability to pass a CAT3 medical, comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
* Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure required.
