Job Description Responsibilities include: Familiarization with ASME / API Codes & Standards, DNV Rules Providing solutions for NDT inspection related problems Managing and controlling company NDT processes Troubleshooting NDT-related issues Providing internal training and technical guidance to QC Inspectors Developing, reviewing, and approving NDT procedures and techniques in compliance with project/code/regulatory requirements Reviewing NDT procedures prepared by NDT sub-contractors as per project specifications before client submission Monitoring the performance of NDT personnel through qualification reviews, competency assessments, cross-checks, and report reviews Conducting risk assessments for NDT works and leading the risk assessment process in the yard Preparing and conducting Project Specific Inductions/workshops/toolbox talks on NDT requirements Coordinating with NDT contractors to develop and update their individual competency matrix Maintaining and updating all NDT personnel qualification records Keeping a copy of all NDT contractors' certificates Reviewing NDT operator qualifications and submitting for project approval Establishing calibration and validation blocks for Ultrasonic Testing Performing audits on NDT contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements Witnessing and providing technical guidance on standard PAUT validations Providing technical support for inspection auditing activities and effective audit programming for companywide NDT activities Reviewing and commenting on standards, specifications, and inquiries Collaborating with the team to ensure all regulatory, quality, and customer requirements are met Verifying NDT reports for project compliance Engaging in creative problem solving to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working Exhibiting sound communication skills to convey ideas and results to various stakeholders through written reports and presentations Understanding clients' needs and applying "fit for purpose" solutions Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master's Degree in NDT Minimum 5 years' experience in a fabrication environment as NDT Level III ASNT/PCN Level III qualification in UT/RT/MT/PT/CSWIP (PAUT) #J-18808-Ljbffr
