Role Summary
The Resource & Security Officer will support the delivery of the largest Federal Government Contact Centre. This includes personnel security clearance functions for Optus employees and contractors, as well as client mandatory training compliance.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework and prior experience working for a large complex organisation such as Telco, Federal Government and Banking.
Salary:
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day Personnel security clearance functions for Optus employees and contractors
* Client mandatory training compliance
* Validation and approval for access to client managed facilities
* Reporting and escalation to Optus management and to the client the status of these activities
* Compliance and Risk Management
Requirements
* An understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework
* Prior experience working for a large complex organisation such as Telco, Federal Government and Banking
* Security Officer training course
* Australian citizenship and eligibility for Federal Government security clearance
