Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be committed to providing a professional service to both our internal and external stakeholders whilst leading a team of six (6) dedicated HR team members.Your key responsibilities will include:Leading and managing the HR function/team across HR Operations, Recruitment, Return to Work & First Aid, Training and Payroll to ensure efficient and effective HR practices are implemented and aligned to, and support business objectivesMaintaining adequate staffing/manning levels for the businessEnsuring compliance with all employment legislation, policies and proceduresReviewing and implementing activities to reduce turnover and improve retentionDeveloping effective relationships with all relevant internal, external stakeholders and employeesEnsuring HR data integrity through accurate updating and maintenance of all HR recordsReviewing and managing trends in attendance and absenteeismDeveloping and implementing employee and community engagement initiativesAbout YouPrevious experience in a similar HR leadership rolePrevious experience within a manufacturing/processing environment highly regardedTertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or related disciplineDemonstrated experience in the application of the Fair Work Act and Modern AwardsExperience managing recruitment and selectionStrong administration and processing skillsHighly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsExcellent investigation and report writing skillsExcellent time management skills and strong attention to detailAbility to establish priorities and meet deadlinesHighly organised self-starter and committed to seeing projects through to the endManagement System experience (Success Factors) highly regardedInterested?
