Overview:
Our client, an ASX-listed critical minerals company is searching for a Chief Executive Officer. With lithium and rare earths projects situated in Brazil and Canada, the company is seeking a proven, dynamic executive who can lead the company through its next stages of growth.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the company's development, marketing and promotional efforts for key critical metals projects;
* Develop and implement the companies strategic plan to maximise the value of company projects;
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, government officials, and community leaders;
* Ensure that the project adheres to environmental, health and safety, and corporate social responsibility standards;
* Manage the company's finances, including budgets, fundraising, and investor relations requirements;
* Build and lead a high-performing team to support the delivery of key project milestones;
* Travel as required to represent the company in public forums, including conferences, media interviews, and regulatory hearings.
Qualifications:
* Tertiary degree qualified in a relevant discipline (Mining, Metallurgy, Geology, Business, Finance)
* Notable leadership experience in mining and minerals project development activities;
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead a high-performing team;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
* Demonstrated commitment to environmental, health and safety, and corporate social responsibility standards.
