The Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Officer to take on a pivotal role within a large not-for-profit organization. You will oversee strategic property transactions, leasing, and capital works projects while providing expert advice to internal stakeholders, including regional leaders, parish councils, and other senior figures. This role requires strong expertise in property transactions, compliance, and project management. Reporting to the Group Manager of Property, you'll lead projects related to property acquisitions, sales, leasing, and building improvements. You'll be responsible for ensuring property strategies align with broader organizational goals and statutory regulations, making a direct contribution to the organization's mission. Key Responsibilities: Manage property transactions, including sales, acquisitions, and leasing, while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Oversee major and minor capital works projects, from feasibility studies through to design and construction. Provide strategic advice to stakeholders on property-related matters, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and objectives. Act as the key liaison with external consultants, contractors, and government bodies to facilitate approvals and project completion. Support parish property strategies, helping local teams analyze market opportunities and manage their property portfolios effectively. About You: You will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in the property industry, with a strong background in property transactions, project management, and strategic analysis. A tertiary qualification in property, project management, or a related field (Cert IV or higher) is required. Experience within the not-for-profit or religious sectors is highly desirable, along with an ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships. Your expertise in property legislation, combined with a proactive and collaborative approach, will ensure your success in this role.
