As People & Culture Manager, you’ll be integral to this journey, overseeing a range of HR functions and implementing scalable processes to support a growing workforce.
About The Role
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, this newly created position will partner with leadership to manage HR operations, lead strategic projects, and drive initiatives that enhance HR service delivery. With a focus on creating a seamless employee experience, from recruitment and onboarding through development and retention, you’ll align HR activities with the organisation’s growth objectives and cyclical performance programs. This role will also be responsible for leading and mentoring one direct report.
Responsibilities include:
1. Talent & Onboarding: Lead recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring an engaging onboarding experience.
2. Employee Relations: Provide ER/IR expertise, including award interpretation and WorkCover, with a proactive approach to employee safety and well-being.
3. Remuneration & Benefits: Support the development of competitive salary structures and short-term incentives, helping attract and retain top talent.
4. HR Reporting & Analytics: Create impactful reports that drive strategic decision-making, using insights from people data.
5. Leadership Development: Mentor and build leadership and team capabilities to support organisational growth.
About You
We’re seeking an experienced HR generalist who thrives in high-growth, dynamic environments. With a track record in HR management and an eye for continuous improvement, you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats and adapting to shifting business needs. If you have a proactive approach, enjoy leading change, and are skilled in people analytics this could be you! Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with a diverse workforce will be essential for building empowering relationships and enhancing the HR function across the organisation. This role will require frequent regional travel.
