The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join Stockland's Development Finance team to partner with our Land Lease Communities Development teams and our Capital Transactions Teams.
In this commercial role you will partner with the business to deliver Land Lease Development Projects in conjunction with our capital partners.
This is a permanent role that can be based in Sydney or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities of this role will include: Engage with Senior Leaders: Identify opportunities, manage risks, and drive business performance.
Develop Funding Requests: Create financials for capital requests and growth initiatives.
Strategic Financial Analysis: Synthesize financial components and advise on strategic decisions.
Performance Analysis: Analyse business performance, communicate risks, and influence key decisions.
Capital Partnerships: Agree partnership business plans, monitor performance versus underwrite and maintain the strategic relationship.
Capital Transactions: Coordinate financial modelling and analysis to enable the creation of new partnerships.
Build Stakeholder Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Ensure Compliance & Drive Improvement: Monitor performance, ensure compliance, and lead improvement initiatives.
About You This role is suitable for someone with strong commercial acumen You will be naturally curious & inquisitive individual with the desire to understand and effectively communicate the "WHY" behind the numbers.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, Qualifications and experience: Qualifications: CA/CPA or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in commercial management, financial accounting, forecasting, and business insights.
Skills: Advanced leadership, customer-centric approach, collaboration, decision-making, commercial acumen, planning, relationship management, and data analytics.
