Working alongside experienced technicians, you will assist in maintaining fixed infrastructure, mobile and portable units, including towers, antennas, offices, vehicles, and fire ground equipment.Your role will involve installing and maintaining radio systems, ensuring compliance with departmental standards, and supporting mobile radio network assets, including trailer-mounted systems, for emergency management. Throughout your traineeship, you will complete both theoretical and practical training to a high standard, building strong technical capabilities as a Radio Technician.The position requires adaptability to varied environments, including offices, vehicles, and outdoor locations, as well as confidence in physical tasks such as climbing towers.Strong teamwork, communication, and a proactive approach to learning are essential.
