The position of Principal Internal Auditor will: Make a meaningful contribution to the achievement of CHQ's vision 'Children and young people first' and objectives by providing independent and objective evaluation of risk management, internal process controls and governance to identify better practice insights with a continuous improvement lens. Play a key role in providing and assisting the CHQ Head of Internal Audit to deliver effective, contemporary and value adding internal audit services in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) 2024 International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and CHQ Internal Audit Charter (2024). Work in partnership with and support the CHQ Head of Internal Audit to deliver all aspects of the internal audit function from development of the strategic internal audit plan, execution of internal audits, reporting, follow-up of internal audit recommendations and response to ad hoc requests.
