Job Title: Finance & Admin Clerk
Reporting To: Financial Controller
Work Schedule: Hybrid – Melbourne, AU
Summary of Job:
Provides the administrative support by undertaking clerical tasks such as data entering, invoicing, filing, handling phone calls, handling emails/mails, basic bookkeeping, AR AP management and assist the Finance Controller in any finance related activities as required.
Key Accountabilities:
Finance Administration:
Verify & process supplier vouchers (including correct allocation of GL codes and cost centers) Processing payment run (EFT, Foreign Currency & Direct Payments) New supplier and customer creation in QAD Customer Credit checks in need Bank entries and reconciliation.
Managing and reconciling employee expense/credit card statements Supporting month end activities (including reporting and journal entries) Support monthly intercompany netting process.
Reviewing and following up on overdue Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payables Process credit card payments from the customers.
Responding to account payable and receivable enquiries Managing the company petty cash Provide requested support to the Finance Department Sales Administration:
Data entry of sales orders (Back up) Invoicing sales and repair orders A&T and Engineering time log maintenance in QAD Qualifications:
Associate Diploma or relevant tertiary certification in Accounts/Finance Field Work Experience:
3+ years' experience in similar/relevant role Suitability:
Good understanding of accounting processes & principles Solid computer literacy and data entry skills - proficient with current Microsoft office Intermediate – Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong verbal and written communication ability Knowledge of ERP system (QAD or SAP is an advantage) Team Player with confidence to work on your own.
Willingness to accept responsibility for assigned tasks and assist others.
