About the role We are seeking compassionate, conscientious, and motivated Allied Health Assistants to work within our Generation Care brand. At Generation Care, you must be able to provide education and support to our customers and participants, inclusive of evidence-based assessment and intervention. It is important that you display exceptional communication and time management skills and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a multi and transdisciplinary allied health team. Amongst your desired caseload you will: Managing your day-to-day client activities to support positive outcomes for your clients and their families Provide client-driven, evidence-based therapy services to clients in their home and community environments, focusing on their personal goal attainment Provide therapy services either individually or as a member of an interdisciplinary team Liaise with external stakeholders, such as other health professionals, NDIA- related entities, family members, educational staff, and community members, to provide individualised support plans About you In order to thrive in this role, it’s essential that you have: Currently studying an allied heath degree (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy etc.) Passion for supporting people to maximise their independence and realise their full potential A high level of verbal, written communication and computer literacy skills A valid driver’s licence with access to your own vehicle A willingness to complete criminal record and working with children check (or state equivalent).
