Our commitment to our staff is reflected in our dedication to workplace safety, professional growth, continuous training, and promoting equal opportunities for all.About the role:Leveraging our recent success in securing projects within both metro and regional Australia and bolstered by a robust pipeline of forthcoming work, we are seeking dedicated Project Managers to enhance our Building and Construction, Commercial and Architectural team. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute across a diverse array of projects within our expansive portfolio located predominately in South Australia (SA) and the Northern Territory (NT). As a direct report to the Construction Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage projects from contract award through execution and close-out successfully. The role requires effectively managing internal and external stakeholders and processes to deliver the projects on time, within budget, and with the desired outcomes aligned with the company's objectives and values.The responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:Ultimate responsibility of planning, organizing, and directing the completion of projects within a given time frame, budget and scope.Building effective communication and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Effective project planning – including cost and schedule estimation where required.Undertaking risk analysis and development of project planning artefacts.Understanding commercial processes, including cost control, project reporting, procurement and contract management.Ensuring compliance with customer and company safety, quality and business processes.Ensuring compliance in accordance with contract terms and conditions for the project in alignment with company policies and procedures.Keeping stakeholders updated through internal and accurate project reporting.Early involvement during the design and cost development of projects, working collaboratively with our estimating team and customer partners.Contribution into the CM/GM portfolio of strategic direction and growth.The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience in a Project Manager role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in the Commercial sector. This position offers a remarkable chance to collaborate intimately with a dynamic team of skilled professionals. You will have the opportunity to impart your technical expertise, offer guidance, and share best practices, contributing significantly to the team's collective success.The successful applicant shall demonstrate the following:Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering or related discipline.Strong commitment to Work Health & Safety and Environmental standards.Previous experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator for a Head Contractor or Managing Contractor.Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities working within a team.Proven industry experience on $5-30m+ brown or greenfield building projects.Experience in managing construction scheduling and cost/cash flow management.Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration when interacting with project teams, management, suppliers, subcontractors, and client stakeholder groups.Change management, design management and ability to develop and or enhance design.Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and building regulations.Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and efficient use of MS Project and other MS Office suite programmes.Refined commercial acumen and experience in contract administration, claims, reporting, budget, expenditure, and finance.Familiarity with project management tools such as Procore or Aconex, and ERP systems like Pronto, is considered an advantage.Willingness to travel to our regional construction sites as required. LAHA and project allowances, additional to base salary.Construction White Card, current Driver’s license.A national police clearance (NPC) is a mandatory requirement of this role.Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance (DCAC).What we offer:This is a full-time position with an attractive remuneration for the right candidate.
