If this sounds like something you want to be involved in, we are finalizing recruitment for the last leadership position in our UG Maintenance Team. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in physically active positions and are comfortable working in hot conditions.
You must be willing to support and be involved in other tasks and activities within the UG environment when required. The team helps each other out, which also provides opportunities to learn and grow. Flexibility and teamwork are essential qualities for success at Paulsens! We also expect you to have fun along the way!
The positions are FIFO from Perth, Darwin, or Broome to site or DIDO from Onslow, Exmouth, Karratha, or Dampier. Paulsens is located in the Ashburton Basin of the Eastern Pilbara region, 211kms inland east of Onslow and 180km west of Paraburdoo. Flights are to Onslow or Paraburdoo, then a two-hour transport to site.
The roster is 15/13, alternating between day and night shift each roster cycle.
About the Opportunity The UG Fitter Leading Hand is responsible for supporting the Supervisor to lead our small team of fitters and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This position is hands-on involving maintaining and servicing underground equipment, both in the underground environment and the surface workshop. The heavy machinery our team works on includes Sandvik 663i Trucks, Cat R1700G Boggers, Sandvik DL431 Long Hole and DD421 Jumbos.
About You A positive and motivated 'can do' attitude is required along with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of people across all levels who understand we are all in this together. In addition, we require the following:
