Join us to be a part of a cutting-edge engineering initiative focused on delivering innovative solutions in the defence industry.We are seeking a skilled Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to help establish and manage the HCF CS MBSE model in the CoA's preferred MBSE tools. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in MBSE and configuration management tools to contribute to a major national defence program.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :Commercial and Technical :Establish and manage a CoA-managed HCF CS instance of an MBSE model using tools such as Cameo, CMT-U, Windchill, and DOORs.Liaise with the HCF Shipbuilder to ensure alignment and smooth transition of the contractor MBSE instance into CoA tools.Perform configuration management and MBSE functions in the preferred tools to ensure smooth operation and accuracy.People and Processes :Liaise with internal and external stakeholders within the HCF CS Program to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Work closely with industry partners to align models / data repositories and enable smooth transfer of information.Collaborate with the HCF CS team to inform and contribute to the design and implementation of the MBSE model.Engage with relevant MIWS and HCF CS members to gather necessary configuration data.Key Performance Indicators :Successful generation and management of the HCF CS MBSE model.Qualifications :Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or an Advanced Diploma.Experience :Demonstrated experience working on projects from concept to delivery.Experience in an autonomous, self-motivated role.Technical skills related to Navy and Combat Systems.Advanced organizational and planning skills, with a focus on time management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Strong experience in MBSE, with specific Cameo experience highly desirable.Configuration Management experience, with CMT-U experience a bonus.Personal Attributes :Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.Supportive, collaborative, and team-oriented.High integrity, trust, and respect.Strong safety awareness and commitment to best practices.Location Requirements :Adelaide is highly desirable; however, Canberra, Sydney, or Melbourne locations are also acceptable.A mix of on-site and remote work is to be expected.Occasional travel to other cities for collaboration and program activities.Why Join Us?This is your chance to work on a significant national defence project, collaborating with a dedicated team and industry partners.
