Peninsula Private Hospital - After Hours Hospital Coordinator Part-Time - 1 -2 permanent days per week Free parking We want you to work within the Allied Health team at the Peninsula Private Hospital. Do you want to provide clinical and administrative assistance and support to Allied Health Professionals to ensure the delivery of a high-quality rehabilitation service? This role is primarily based in our Outpatient rehabilitation services but will also have the option of working additional shifts across our inpatient acute Surgical and Medical wards, or inpatient Rehabilitation ward. Commencing as 1 -2 permanent days per week, with the possibility of increased shifts. As an Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include: Support members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of clinical care to patients/families Work under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to help patients achieve their goals Administration duties - coordinating patient appointments, processing referrals, conducting health fund checks, preparing and filing of the medical record Provision of hands-on therapy services including facilitation of exercise groups Assisting patients with their daily needs including mobility and personal cares Assisting with cleaning and general tidying of clinical areas Peninsula Private Hospital is a 60 bed acute medical, surgical and rehabilitation hospital located 30 kilometers north of Brisbane.
