Hastings Deering is offering a new opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our team. Due to the location of the sites that this role will support, we are ideally looking for a candidate to be based in ourorbranches on abasis.
The successful incumbent will manage and coordinate upcoming planned work, support planned component replacement and ensure a future focus in maintaining reliability and availability targets at Carmichael Mine.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:
1. Support the customer in planning of scheduled maintenance on all machines and equipment assigned to the role
2. Responsible for the creation of all parts lists and resource allocation for PCR work.
3. Regular review of the defect list and planning the repairs of these defects at the optimal time
4. Management and tracking of all planning requirements for service letters, defect sheets, SOS actions, parts and resource requirements
5. Process control management and site-based development of processes; work order process, warranty handling process, warranty parts return and control
6. Attending and providing input to the weekly planning meetings
7. The attendance of all related Tool Box & Safety meetings
8. Responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate bills of material associated to planned events
9. Responsible for maintaining job packaging for work order management associated to planned events
10. Will be required to support both the Customer and Maintenance Reliability roles when either are absent from site
About You
A successful candidate will have experience in:
11. Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade (Diesel Fitting) or related discipline
12. Minimum of five years' post trade experience with working Caterpillar Production Systems
13. Minimum two years' experience supervising a team in providing technical solutions
